How To

Automatic Announcement & On-Sale

While planning your events, you may prefer to schedule a specific date & time for your announcement and on-sale.  This flexibility is easy to manage from your Prekindle dashboard.

The Announcement is when the specifics of the event are published to the world, through visibility on the Prekindle website, as well as syndication to event discovery sites like Songkick, Eventful, and Bandsintown.  This includes the dates, times, description, and more.  You can control this manually by clicking PUBLISH, or by setting an announce date.   It’s best to publish your event 24 hours in advance of your marketing date to increase search results and event discovery.

The On-sale is when tickets  are available for purchase.  Tickets often go on sale when the event is announced, but you can configure this to your specific needs.

Your customers will see when the tickets go on sale when they visit your ticket page.
